for children to enhance their dramatic play.

Ice Cream Truck
paint a box white for the truck, bells on a pipe cleaner, white jacket,  white hat/visor, coin
changer/fannypack, money, a variety of "ice cream treats" (construction paper Popsicles on real
Popsicle sticks, cones from rolled brown paper), scoop, paint a large box (with a lid that can be opened
like a freezer door) white and attach to the inside of a child size wheelbarrow. Attach a bell to the handle
- to create the sound of the ice cream truck. As a project for the kids have them make "Popsicles &
Fudgsicles" out of heavy cardboard and paint and attach to a Popsicle stick! Make cones out of heavy
paper or use the dispenser type cone shaped paper cups. For "scoops" of ice cream purchase colorful
large pompoms, money, ice cream scoops,  paper "cones", empty ice cream tubs , play money, cash
register, apron and hat, order pads, pencils , wipe-off board "menu",  empty whipped cream spray cans

Inventor's Kit

electrical cords. Provide screwdrivers, wire cutters, and other simple tools (no hammers) to discover the

machine, electronic games, calculators, watches, other old machines to take apart & appropriate tools,
