Include the following collections of objects and materials for children to create, discover, and use for
imaginary play. Store collections in boxes or baskets to be accessible at any time (indoors or outdoors)
for children to enhance their dramatic play.

Pizza Maker
different sized pizza boxes (small, med, and large) from a pizza restaurant and the cardboard circles
they put pizzas "to go" on. Cut and glue a piece of beige felt to each cardboard circles (pizza crust). Cut
red felt circles 1/2 inch smaller than the cardboard circles(sauce). Cut some circles into slices. Cut up
some white yarn for mozzarella cheese, tan felt mushrooms, reddish brown felt rounds for sausage, red
felt dotted with black marker for pepperoni, green felt in the shape of sliced green peppers, black felt
rounds for olives. Other items: menus, cash register, money, phone, pens and pads, aprons, cooks
hats, plastic pizza wheel, napkins, plates,

Pumpkin Patch
plastic pumpkins, small pumpkins from grocery store, vines, seeds, flannel pumpkins, pumpkin shaped:
sewing cards, paper numbered cards and paper alphabet cards

Puppet Corner:
blank booklet (for children to draw or write about experiences in centre), books (fair and equitable),
